Posted 3 months ago

The Role

National Monitoring are looking to recruit, adding to their existing team of Security professionals.

This rewarding opportunity will afford the successful candidate the chance to play a role in supporting and protecting vulnerable people when they need it the most, providing job satisfaction to the successful applicant that their efforts are making a positive social difference.

National Monitoring work in partnership with the Police and provide security solutions to persons identified by the Police as at risk. These persons can then raise an alarm, faster than dialling 999, that the Police respond to.

The role encompasses the deployment of “plug and play” alarm equipment at residential or commercial premises that requires no formal electrical training to deploy. We have sourced and designed the equipment so that it can be installed easily. An installation only normally takes 20 – 40 minutes to deploy, with a significant proportion of this time being an explanation of how the customer uses the system.

As we work within the security industry all our employees must be vetted by the police, therefore any criminal convictions may prevent your employment.

The role we are recruiting for is based in the North West of London. Ideally the Candidate will be centrally based within 10 miles around the Harrow area, but anywhere based around North West London around the M25 would be considered.

The role is based upon a rotating Full-Time shift pattern of four days on, comprising of 09:00 - 20:30, then four days off. On call is required on working days (additional payments for call outs received during on call periods).

Overtime is normally available. (Paid at enhanced rate £17.30ph) with 230 paid hours holiday per annum. A Company vehicle, company mobile phone and full training is also provided.
