Security Engineer Required

A multi-national, market-leading insurer is seeking a Security Engineer to maintain and develop the current MS 365 and Azure Cloud security architecture. The role involves providing expertise on security tools and infrastructure while implementing SIEM. The role will require interaction with key stakeholders and leadership teams to define strategy.

Role:

  • As a Security Engineer, you will be part of the Global team, working to secure and reduce risks in the company's enterprise environment.
  • Focus on cloud security architecture and development using MS 365 and Azure.
  • Implementing SIEM tools to ensure the safe and secure storage of invaluable information.
  • Participate in various operational processes, such as firewall changes on both Azure and MS 365 platforms.
  • Perform regular penetration tests and support cloud security initiatives and API integration.
  • Play a critical role in the company's ongoing automation efforts by developing scripts and advising on any improvements that can be made.
  • Effectively communicate complex security problems and solutions to key stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor junior team members in the team

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience and certification in cybersecurity.
  • BSc in Computer Science, with a specialty in cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 and Azure.
  • Knowledge of MFA in a Zero Trust model.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Proven experience using SIEM in endpoint detection and response.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior colleagues.
