About the Role:

My client are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Door Entry Systems. You will work with clients across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial, ensuring their security needs are met to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and commission CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and Door Entry systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of existing security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and malfunctions, providing timely and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Perform on-site surveys and risk assessments to determine the most suitable security system installations.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation of their security systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service reports and maintenance logs.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, maintaining strong communication with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Door Entry Systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of various security systems, including both analog and IP-based systems.
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security equipment from different manufacturers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
Desirable:
  • Relevant certifications in security system installation and maintenance (e.g., NSI, SSAIB, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with integrated security solutions and network-based systems.
  • Knowledge of current regulations and standards related to security system installations.
Package:
  • Salary: �35,000 - �45,000 Basic DOE
