Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our client. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organisation's digital assets and infrastructure against cyber threats. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures that protect their systems, data, and networks.
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and penetration testing.
\n
• Monitor for security breaches and promptly respond to security incidents.
\n
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
\n
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, including Azure, Office 365, and Fortinet firewalls.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of new technologies.
\n
• Stay current with industry trends, security standards, and best practices.
\n
• Provide security awareness training to staff and promote security best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
\n
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role within a financial services or similarly regulated industry.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of Azure security services, Office 365 security features, and Fortinet firewall configuration and management.
\n
• Experience in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
\n
• Familiarity with cloud security technologies and best practices.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus
