Security Operations Engineer - Cloud

SECURITY OPERATIONS ENGINEER – PERM – HYBRID We are working with a leading data company in expanding their team. They are seeking talented Security Operations Engineers with vast experience in Cloud.You will play a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of the security controls set by the company. You will also be essential in protecting data from potential and emerging threats.You will be part of a team of passionate security professionals and have the opportunity to work for a global leader in data science.Responsibilities:Conduct research, design, develop, deploy, and enhance security solutions, such as cloud security posture management (CSPM), endpoint detection and response (EDR), cloud access security broker (CASB), and integrated cloud email security (ICES). Support initiatives and technologies related to security operations and infrastructure, such as those that are a part of the ongoing Cyber Transformation Program. Manage the encryption keys and make sure sensitive data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Keep an eye on, evaluate, and adjust security posture as needed. Support Security Analysts in managing and monitoring security solutions on a daily basis. Support security analysts in their investigations and fixes of security issues in accordance with procedures for incident management and response. Keep up to date knowledge of sophisticated threats, ongoing surveillance, incident handling, and mitigation techniques utilized in cyber security operations. Qualifications:Experience with integrated cloud email security (ICES) and cloud access security broker (CASB) and cloud security posture management (CSPM) Expertise in scripting for complex assignments and automation Knowledge in SANS Top 20 Controls, NIST Framework More details:Permanent role2 days in office, 3 days work from homeInterviews will commence swiftly.
