Security Technologist

Security Technologist - Outside IR35 - 10 month contract

Harvey Nash is working with a well known organisation who are looking for a Security Technologist to join the team on an initial 10 month contract outside IR35.

The organisation are looking for a contractor to work on BAU tasks, supporting day-to-day ICOPs technical activities, delivering high quality technical support services to both our internal and external customers.

This role as a Senior Security Technologist also consists of supporting their technical development and helping to develop their soft skills in the team Create and maintain a compassionate, safe, and continual learning culture where the knowledge and performance of the ICOPs Team is constantly advancing, maturing and improving.

Technically we are looking for someone with:

• SME level technical knowledge and skills based on practical experience, of at least 15 years of which 7 should be at a senior technical level preferably within the following technology fields and platforms:Compute and storage technologies such as HPE, Dell, Oracle etc
• Microsoft Windows technologies
• Microsoft 365 products
• Microsoft Azure technologies
• Vmware virtualisation technologies
• Cloud technologies (e.g. SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.)
• Backup systems and processes
• DR & Resilience planning, design, implementation & execution
• Vulnerability management technologies
• Observability & monitoring tools and platforms
• Automation and scripting
