PSR Solutions are on the lookout for an exceptional English Teacher to join an independent school dedicated to the holistic development of young people aged 11-16, all of whom have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and many with additional SEND such as Autism and ADHD.
In this unique role, you'll be more than just a teacher of English; you'll be a mentor, a guide, and a beacon of stability for your students. Your primary mission will be to build nurturing relationships, understand the individual needs of each child, and create a learning environment that is as engaging as it is educational. Whether you're guiding students through Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, or the GCSE curriculum, your high aspirations for their academic success will be pivotal. You'll focus on increasing academic and vocational qualifications, while also helping young people achieve independent living skills that will equip them for the next stage in their lives, be it further education, training, or work. You'll help the young people discover the magic in education and ignite a passion for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
