Your Role
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support classroom activities and assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one support for students with SEMH/SEN needs, aiding their academic progress and understanding of the curriculum.
- Help prepare teaching materials and organise resources for lessons.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with pupils, fostering respect and confidence.
- Collaborate with the wider school team to share ideas, strategies, and best practices.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in supporting students with behavioural challenges.
- Strong references showcasing your ability to work effectively in similar roles.
- A comprehensive CV detailing your full employment history.
- The right to work in the UK.
Successful candidates must provide suitable references and complete an enhanced DBS check.
