TeacherActive is currently working with Ofsted-outstanding SEMH schools in Oxford, catering to both primary and secondary pupils. These schools specialize in providing a holistic and inclusive environment tailored to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. With a structured approach guided by individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), students are taught in small groups or on a one-to-one basis by skilled and dedicated staff.

We are looking for motivated and compassionate teaching staff with a strong background in supporting children with SEMH needs. This role requires individuals who can build trust and foster positive relationships, creating a safe and nurturing environment for learning. Collaboration with colleagues, a flexible mindset, and a commitment to helping vulnerable children succeed are essential. This is a highly rewarding role where you will witness the transformative impact of your work every day.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, including behavioral challenges, ADHD, or trauma-related difficulties.
• A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and team members.
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to support emotional and academic development.
• A proactive and resilient approach, with a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
• The ability to travel to the site (own transport preferred but not essential).
