Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients that you will be the point of contact for
• Preparing and submitting year-end accounts under FRS102 & FRS105
• Preparing and submitting both personal and corporate tax returns
• Handle VAT return preparation and submission
• Oversee the bookkeeping
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues & reviewing their work as needed
• Act as liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA part or fully qualified
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in UK accountancy practices
• Robust understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in various accounting software platforms such as Xero, Quickbooks & Sage
• Meticulous attention to numerical data and detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues
