Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic Accountancy Practice in the Rotherham (S66) area as they look to recruit a semi senior into their team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Managing and overseeing client bookkeeping, preparing complex financial statements, and engaging in various accounting and administrative tasks
  • This position requires a blend of accounting expertise, client service orientation, and a proactive approach to professional development
  • Overseeing client bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns and managing a personal portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of complex financial statements, interim management accounts, and tax returns for businesses of varying size
  • Participation in client meetings and collaboration with directors and business owners
  • Contribution to the training and development of junior team members
  • Involvement in various accounting/administrative tasks as needed

Person Specification:


  •  Proficiency in Iris, Xero, Sage Business Cloud, Sage 50 and QuickBooks is advantageous
  • Qualified by experience or AAT qualified / part-qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
  • Several years experience working in accountancy practice
