The Client:

Our client is a reputable accountancy firm, delivering comprehensive and effective tax and accounting solutions.

The Role:

As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will process VAT returns for clients, addressing different schemes and resolving queries.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and review statutory accounts for limited companies, ensuring precision and proper reconciliation.
• Prepare CIS returns along with accounts for self-employed individuals and rental properties.
• Conduct book-keeping tasks and handle various administrative duties as required.
• Adhere to internal procedures and interact with clients and external parties.
• Manage company secretarial tasks, including preparing stock transfer documentation.
• Evaluate and review the work completed by other team members.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
• Ideally be part qualified / fully qualified in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT.
• Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
• Skilled in Excel, Sage, and other accounting software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organisation and time management abilities.
