*SEMI-SENIOR PRACTICE ACCOUNTANT - PRESTON*
Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Preston. This company is looking to grow their team as a result of continued expansion and business growth.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is either fully AAT qualified or part ACCA/ACA and qualified by experience. A minimum of 3 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Previous experience in preparing accounts is essential and a basic understanding and experience of personal/corporate tax would be preferable.
*Key Roles and Responsibilities:*
* Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
* Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
* General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients.
* Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
*Candidates Attributes:*
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
* Either AAT qualified or late stage AAT and progressing with ACCA or ACA qualification.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
