Location: Reading

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000

Hybrid working (after probation) + Excellent Benefits

An opportunity has arisen for Semi Senior Practice Accountant with3 years of PQE in accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm. In this role, you will support senior accountants, manage a client portfolio, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.

You will be responsible for:

• Prepare financial statements and reports according to accounting standards.
• Conduct tax planning and prepare tax returns using Taxcalc.
• Use Xero and QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Assist in training and developing junior staff.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Practice Accountant or in a similar role.
• MAAT qualified or ACCA part qualified
• Understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Skilled in using TaxCalc, Xero, and QuickBooks.
• Exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
