SEN Teaching Assistants – Tamworth

Position: long-term placement in a Primary School
Pay: £83.34 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible

The Supply Register is looking to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for their schools in Fazeley area of Tamworth. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans to meet individual needs.
• Help students stay engaged and focused in lessons.
• Support behaviour management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with students’ emotional and physical well-being when required.
• Report any concerns to the appropriate school staff.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is essential.
• Enhanced DBS: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
• Passion for Education: A strong commitment to supporting students with SEN.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
