Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Full-Time – FE College – Bexley Area

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Further Education (FE) college in the Bexley area, providing support to students with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, behavioural needs, wheelchair users, and Down Syndrome.
Role Details:
- Location: Bexley area
- Days: Monday to Friday (Please only apply if you can work 5 days)
- Hours: Full-time (exact hours TBC)
- Pay: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with diverse learning needs in the classroom and around the college
- Assisting with mobility, personal care, and communication where necessary
- Helping students develop independence, confidence, and engagement in their studies
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting students with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH, and physical disabilities
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A passion for helping young people achieve their potential in an FE setting
