Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (£20,941.30 - £22,835.30 actual salary) depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time Only
The School
This School, rated 'Good,' is an innovative provider of education and care for students aged 10-19 with complex needs, typically related to Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, and other conditions. They are situated in a beautiful, woodland-surrounded area in Cranleigh and are currently seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Workers to join their dedicated team.
The Role
As a LSW, you will play a vital role in supporting their students' learning and well-being, ensuring each child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. Your responsibilities may occasionally include supporting care needs and managing positive behaviour, adopting tailored approaches for individual students.
You will establish warm, supportive relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Promoting independence and personal development, while maintaining high expectations of behaviour, is essential. You will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities and experiences, aiming for pupils to achieve their full potential in all areas of learning.
Key Duties:

Successful applicants will be subject to pre-employment safeguarding checks, including an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.
