Dunbar Education is partnering with an inspiring SEN school in Hoddesdon to find a dedicated and passionate SEN Maths Specialist. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a love for mathematics and a commitment to supporting pupils with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities:
Engage and Inspire:
Deliver dynamic, personalised maths lessons tailored to meet each pupil's unique needs.
Collaborative Support:
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure pupils' academic and emotional development.
Creative Teaching:
Employ innovative methods to make mathematics accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for pupils.
Monitor and Assess:
Track and evaluate pupil progress, offering individualised feedback and support to help every pupil succeed.
Key Requirements We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS):
Or relevant teaching qualification specialising in Maths.
SEN Experience:
Previous experience in an SEN environment, ideally with a focus on mathematics.
Inclusive Mindset:
Passion for inclusion and dedication to supporting all learners.
Strong Team Player:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
