We are delighted to be working with a specialist primary school in Evesham, Worcester, seeking an SEN Teacher to cover maternity leave. This school provides exceptional, individualized support and education for children with special educational needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where every student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging lessons for a small class of 10 students, tailoring activities to meet individual needs in a safe and supportive environment.
• Supporting the academic and social development of students with complex needs, including Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
• Collaborating with support staff and therapists to create a well-rounded, therapeutic learning experience for each child.
• Assessing and tracking student progress, adjusting strategies to encourage continuous growth and development.
• Fostering independence, curiosity, and life skills, supporting each child’s journey to reach their full potential.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• A genuine commitment to inclusive, child-centered education.
• Experience in SEN teaching, ideally with students with complex physical and learning needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• A passion for creating a nurturing, inspiring classroom environment where every child feels valued.
