SEN Primary Teaching Assistant

The Supply Register is proud to partner with the Wade Deacon Trust, including Yew Tree Primary Academy. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN/D) on a 1:1 basis.

This role is initially until February half-term, with the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with SEN/D, helping them achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate closely with the SENCo to implement effective strategies and interventions.
• Assist the Class Teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting students with additional needs, ideally within a school setting.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service 
• Availability to work school hours, Monday to Friday.
