Job Title: SEN School Cleaner (Contract)

Location: SEND School, London Borough of Bexley

Job Type: Contract 10 hours a week (Monday to Friday 4pm – 6pm)

Rate: £11 - £13.68 per hour (depending on experience)

SEND School is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable SEN School Cleaner to join their team on a contract basis in the London Borough of Bexley.  This would be Monday to Friday 4pm -6pm position to start immediately!

The ideal SEN School Cleaner will have experience in cleaning classrooms, toilets, and reception areas, as well as hoovering and general cleaning tasks. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

• Proven experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning best practices and use of cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Enhanced DBS check (required).
• Clean and disinfect classrooms, ensuring a hygienic environment for students and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness in toilet areas, including restocking supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and thorough cleaning.
• Clean and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and tidy for visitors.
• Hoover carpets and rugs in classrooms, hallways, and other designated areas.
• Empty and dispose of rubbish in accordance with school policies.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and school policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as required by the school.
