Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: 85-90 per day

Responsibilities as an SEN TA:


  • Create an interactive classroom environment
  • Support the teacher and the children with the smooth flow of classroom activities
  • Provide 1 on 1 support or support small group of children when needed
  • Ensure full participation of the children
  • Engage the class in activities, assignments and tasks
  • Monitor the children's progress and communicate the same with parents and teachers
  • Ensure safeguarding of the children by following schools policies and procedures

Requirements of this role:


  • Residing in the UK
  • Eligibility to work
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Professional references with clean work history
  • Relevant experience in the UK schools
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
