Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £85-90 per day

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support students with special educational needs, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact, providing the care and support they need to thrive in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities include:

• Create an engaging classroom environment
• Provide an individual support to the needy students
• Engage the students with activities and ensure full participation
• Support the teacher with lesson plans and strategies
• Liaise with parents, teacher and colleagues regarding child progress
• Provide personal care and assistance when needed
• Monitor and record student's progress
• Ensure safety and well being of the children

Requirements are:

• Must be residing in the UK
• Eligibility to work
• Enhanced child DBS on the update service
• Previous experience as SEN TA
• Proven professional references
• Efficient in handling SEN children
• Excellent communication skills
