Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with diverse special educational needs, including managing challenging behaviour.
• Assist in classroom activities, ensuring a secure and positive learning environment.
• Offer personal care when needed, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene support.
• Implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care and education.

What They Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to handle and respond positively to challenging behaviour.
• Willingness to provide personal care as required.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation due to the school's location and off-site activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
