Location: Lingfield, Surrey
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Term-Time Only (39 weeks/year)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours/week
Salary: £21,262.05 per annum

Are you ready to ignite your career and make a real difference? We're on the hunt for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (TA) to join this incredible team, empowering young people with special educational needs and disabilities to achieve their dreams.

Your Role

As a TA, you'll be at the heart of a dynamic team of Therapists, Nurses, and Support Workers, all dedicated to unlocking the potential of these amazing students. Here's what you'll be doing:

Student-Centred Care: Championing the growth and development of each student.
Creating Safe Learning Spaces: Inspiring and enabling students to shine.
Personalised Learning Support: Facilitating both 1:1 and group learning tailored to individual needs.
Assisting Tutors: Enhancing lesson delivery and tracking student achievements.
Organising Activities: Planning thrilling outings and day trips.
Administration: Ensuring smooth operations with efficient admin work.

About You

They're looking for passionate individuals who are:

  • Dedicated to Supporting Young People: You care deeply about the success of 19-25-year-olds.
  • Committed to Excellence: You strive to achieve the best outcomes for the students you support.
  • Creative and Adaptable: You bring fresh ideas and flexible approaches to the table.
  • Resilient: You handle challenging situations with poise and initiative.
  • Strong Communicators: Your verbal and written skills are top-notch.
  • Qualified: You hold or are eager to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (they provide funding!).
  • Experienced: You have a background in classroom environments and tracking student progress.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiarity with Autism, Epilepsy, and PMLD is a plus (but not a dealbreaker!).
