Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialised support to students with a range of special educational needs, including those exhibiting challenging behaviours.
• Assist in delivering engaging and effective classroom activities while maintaining a positive and safe learning environment.
• Offer personal care as required, including support with feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with classroom teachers.
• Create and maintain a supportive atmosphere to enhance student engagement and participation.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive education and care.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with special educational needs is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to manage and positively address challenging behaviour.
• Willingness to provide personal care as necessary.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, given the school's location and off-site activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting children with SEN.
