Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and tailored lesson plans that align with the primary curriculum.
- Provide individualised support and guidance to students with a range of SEN, including autism and ADHD.
- Collaborate closely with other professionals, including teaching assistants, and SEN leads to create a holistic approach to student support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and development.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the social and emotional well-being of all students.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching students with SEN in a primary school setting
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEN frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
