Maths Teacher (SEN)

Type of work: Teaching Maths to pupils with a range of SEND.

School Overview:
Prospero Teaching is working with a SEN school on the outskirts of Bury that caters to students aged 11-19 with complex anxiety associated with autism spectrum disorder and/or early trauma. All the students will have an education, health and care plan (EHCP).

Role Overview:

Prospero teaching is seeking an energetic Maths Teacher to deliver a curriculum tailored to engage and support SEN students. This role involves helping students develop their numeracy skills through adaptive teaching methods that encourage confidence and independent learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths or a related field.
• Experience working with SEN students, with a flexible and positive teaching approach.
• A genuine commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
