SEN Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a experienced SEN Teacher to join this Secondary School who need an experienced SEN Teacher for their ASD Provision starting September 2024. This is a full time, long-term role for the entire academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The School:

The School is a vibrant and happy school who have created a community feel alongside encouraging excellence and pride in everything they do. The provision is comprised of a small sensory room, small sensory garden, two specialist classrooms, a life skills kitchen and two Autism.

As a SEN teacher you will be responsible for the below:

• Planning and assessing pupils with Autism.
• Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
• Support behaviour by following the children's plans
• Updating and setting targets for children.
• Working alongside Speech and Language Therapist

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• Hold previous experience working within SEND
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
