Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons, creating and implementing Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), and supporting students with varying needs. You will collaborate with parents, caregivers, and professionals to provide holistic support and ensure student's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Deliver creative, adaptable lessons to meet individual learning styles and needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods and IEPs as required.
  • Work closely with parents, support staff, and external professionals to foster student development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and confidence.
  • Keep up to date with SEN policies, strategies, and best practices to continually improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching students with special educational needs.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
