Working as a SEN Teacher would involve being responsible for -

• Being responsible for the safeguarding/health and safety for each student and keep up with school policies
• Work with/have knowledge of autism and learning disabilities
• Being able to adapt teaching styles to better suit each learners needs
• Create an environment using positive encouragement to discourage bad behaviour
• Have emotional and physical resilience to handle bad behaviour tendencies

Person Specifications:

• Punctual and reliable
• Good appreciation of health and safety in the workplace, data protection principles and equal opportunities.
• Willingness to support and manage behaviours of distress
• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
