SEN Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join their supportive team at a vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional or an enthusiastic educator looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. This role begins February 2025.

Duties as a SEN Teacher:

• Plan, deliver and assess tailored lessons that cater to individual learning needs.

\n

• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

\n

• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

\n

• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support student progress.

\n

• Use innovative and adaptive teaching strategies to engage pupils.

\n

• Maintain accurate records of student development and achievements.

\n

• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom setting.

\n

Ideal SEN Teacher:

\n

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

\n

• Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).

\n

• Strong understanding of different learning disabilities and special educational needs.

\n

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\n

• Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting young learners.

\n
