Randstad is hiring for a school in Manchester and is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide one-on-one or group support to SEN students in the classroom.
  • Assist teachers with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans, safeguarding of the student.
  • Helping students with their learning and ensuring the classroom is a safe learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:


  • Experience working in the UK with children or young people, especially those with SEN needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and learning styles.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting student's educational needs.
  • Enhanced DBS is mandatory (If you do not have a DBS on the update service you must be willing to apply for a new one).
  • Eligible to work in the UK (No Sponsorship).
