Sen Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced�SEN Teaching Assistant�to support�1:1�with a child in reception with�Cerebral Palsy.

About the Role:

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work.


• As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to a child with Cerebral Palsy, ensuring their safety, well-being, and educational progress.


• This is a full-time position, requiring your commitment to work during school hours.

Requirements:

• Manual handle trained


• Knowledge and understanding of Cerebral Palsy and the challenges faced by students with this condition.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with the class teacher, parents, and other professionals involved in the child's care.


• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to support the child's individual needs.


• Willing to complete training in order to support child.


• Willing to provide personal care including changing and feeding.


• Must be prepared to support with Physio Exercises.
