SEN Teaching Assistant

Vetro Education has been working alongside a leading SEN school in Monmouthshire for the past two years and have supported them with a number of full and part-time vacancies. The school are looking for a number of passionate and resilient individuals to join their ever-growing team from September 2024. The ideal individual will aspire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people between the ages of 5 and 16 years old.
You will contribute to the school's mission of significantly enhancing students' educational experiences facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. These positions are full-time, with the opportunity of a contract directly with the school for the right individuals.
Location: Monmouth
Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 15:30
Pay: £85.00 -95.00 per day depending on experience
Start date: September 2024
The ideal Teaching Assistant will possess:
A keen interest in working with children
Experience (paid or voluntary) working with Children and/or in the care sector
Experience with social and emotional behaviour difficulties, Social and emotional mental health and challenging behaviour
Open to training and development
Proactive work ethic
The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
A patient and understanding attitude
The ability to work as part of a team
