The School and Role
An SEN school based in Weymouth is currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The school caters for students aged 6 to 16 years who have a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, ASD, moderate learning difficulties and various other special educational needs.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH and challenging behaviour.
- A passion for the progress of pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
