  • Support positive behaviour and focus, adapting your approach as needed.
  • Promote spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development, and uphold British values within the PSHE framework.
  • Foster students' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being through a holistic curriculum.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist where needed in the dynamic SEN environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in an SEN role, either employed or voluntary.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential for student carpooling on a rota basis).
  • Recognised Level 2 or higher qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable).
  • GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above (essential).
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
  • Experience with pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD.
  • A child-first approach, recognising and responding to each student's individuality.
  • Creativity and positivity in meeting pupils' needs.

Benefits:

  • Full training and ongoing support.
  • Life assurance and pension.
  • Health cash back plan.
  • Car lease scheme.
  • Bike to work scheme.
  • Perk box.
  • Free parking.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, meaning they can ask candidates to disclose all convictions and cautions (including those "spent" unless protected under DBS filtering rules) to ensure suitability for working with children.

If you're passionate about enhancing the education and well-being of children with complex needs, we invite you to apply and become part of this dedicated team. Apply NOW or call Paul Hirchfield on 01293 527416 for more information.
