Role Overview
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching team to support students with diverse learning needs. You will provide one-on-one support, assist in small groups, and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
🎓 Student Support:

  • Provide individualised or small group support to aid in students' academic and social development.
  • Encourage independence and resilience through structured activities and tailored guidance.
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes students' confidence and well-being.

📚 Classroom Assistance:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to the specific needs of each student.
  • Help maintain a well-organised, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, working closely with the teaching team.

🌟 Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support students during transitions, breaks, and school outings.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who:

  • Has experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting.
  • Is knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection.
  • Brings a patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to working with students with complex needs.
  • Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
