Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Salford, Manchester (M5)

Pay Rates: £12.83 - £13.83 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Salford, Manchester. This full-time position, commencing in January 2025, involves working with Key Stage 1 students to support their educational and developmental needs. The appointed SEN Teaching Assistant to become an integral part of a dynamic team at this thriving primary school in Salford

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to design and implement tailored learning activities that cater to each student's unique requirements.
• Observe and document student progress, offering constructive feedback and adapting support strategies as necessary.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and success.

SEN Teaching Assistant Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with children with special educational needs particularly within a primary school setting, is highly desirable.
• Understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration with students, staff, and parents.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous but not essential.
