SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for experienced, motivated and flexible teaching assistants to join our education agency and work in various SEN schools in Anfield and surrounding areas in Liverpool.

Key Requirements:

• Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, mental health needs
• School experience supporting students 1-1
• References covering the last two years
• Hold a current DBS on the update service or are willing to complete a new DBS
• The Right to Work in the UK

Duties will include:

• Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
• Preparing the classroom before lessons
• Working with pupils in small groups and working 1:1 with children with additional needs
• Putting together displays of children's work
• Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
• Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
• Supervising group activities
