Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with a range of special educational needs.
- Assist with tailored learning plans to help students develop key skills and promote independence.
- Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to ensure students' needs are effectively met.
- Support students’ physical care and well-being where necessary (e.g., personal care, mobility).
Requirements:
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in an SEN classroom is essential.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
- Empathetic, patient approach to supporting children with SEN.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Previous SEN, childcare, or education experience is a plus, but not essential.
