SEN Teaching Assistant – Redruth (Full-Time, Driving Licence Required)

Salary: £80-£90 per day

GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Redruth. This is a full-time role supporting students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist in the implementation of personalised education and support plans.
• Encourage social interaction and support students’ emotional well-being.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure student progress.

Requirements

• A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory.
• Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• DBS on the Update Service or be fully compliant to start work on 24/02#####5.
