Salary: Competitive Salary

Contract: Full-time or Part Time considered. Permanent (Term-time only)

A forward-thinking and inclusive SEN school in Cranleigh is seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

About the Role

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils, working closely with teachers and other support staff. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Providing individual and small group support to pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with their personal care and well-being
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) (desirable)

Essential Requirements


  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
