SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD & Autism)

We are currently seeking dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants with experience of PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and Autism.

We have fantastic opportunities for PMLD LSAs / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties Support Assistants in brilliant and supportive SEN schools that cater for children with different levels of learning difficulties. The ideal LSA / Learning Support Assistant will have a caring nature and will be passionate about providing outstanding care and support to children of mixed abilities.

The role will involve:

• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
• 1-1 support with students who require additional help
• Leading group work
• Assisting the class teacher with pupil observations
• Helping with personal care

The schools are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, and ready to join a dedicated team. All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with special educational needs / disabilities. Experience with personal care is also essential.
