Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a high-functioning child with ASD.
- Help facilitate the child's learning and development in line with their individual educational needs.
- Support the child's social and emotional well-being, building their confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
- Encourage and promote positive behaviour and social skills.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and carers.
Job Requirements for this SEN TA role in Newham
- Experience of supporting SEN children particularly in a mainstream school
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
