Special Needs Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded SEN primary school in Withington. This school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance required to thrive academically and socially. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
• Assist the teacher in preparing and adapting learning materials to meet the needs of SEN students.
• Work closely with students to help them develop their skills and confidence.
• Support students' physical, emotional, and social welfare.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Essentials:

• GCSEs or equivalent (A-Levels or a degree in a related field is a plus).
• Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of various disabilities, special education strategies, and assistive technologies.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and therapists.
