Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our bank. In this role, you will support children with a variety of special educational needs, including PMLD, Autism, and physical disabilities. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support that helps our students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support children with PMLD, Autism, and physical disabilities in the classroom setting.


  • Assist with daily activities, ensuring that students are comfortable, engaged, and able to participate fully in lessons.


  • Help to implement individual learning plans and promote personal development.


  • Provide personal care support where needed.


  • #####ata-start="#####" data-end="1373">Encourage positive behavior and social interaction among students.

  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff members to create an inclusive learning environment.

  • Essential Skills & Experience:



    • Experience supporting children with PMLD, Autism, or physical disabilities (either in a school setting or other relevant environme#####.

      Strong understanding of the different needs of students w#####SEN.

      Ability to work as part of a team, providing both academic and emotio#####support.
