GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Tutor to support individuals with special educational needs (SEN) in Doncaster.

As an SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with SEN, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Monitor and report on student progress, and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN education (desirable but not essential).
