Part-Time SENCO Position in Wellingborough

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A primary school in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join their team on a part-time basis.

Position Details:

• Role: Part-Time SENCO
• Location: Wellingborough
• Schedule: 3 days a week (specific days to be confirmed)
• Sites: Working across both an Infant and Junior site
• Contract: Fixed term for one year
• Start Date: September 2024

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the provision for students with special educational needs across the school
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students' educational and personal development
• Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed

Requirements:

• Experience as a SENCO is essential
• SENCO qualifications are desirable but not necessary
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs
