We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school in Slough.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the students and ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance they need to succeed in their studies.
You will need to support children across various classes, some of which have SEND therefore it is essential that you are comfortable working with SEND students.
The Role:
- Provide support to both 1:1 and small groups as a SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant
- As a SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant you will provide support across two schools.
- Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive and engaging environment for students as a SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant
- Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs as a SEND Secondary Teaching Assistant
Requirements:
- Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
- Able to start immediately as a Secondary Teaching Assistant
- Child DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
- COMFORTABLE TO LEARN BRAILLE/ PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE IN BRAILLE
- Experience working with children in the UK.
- Live in the Slough area or able to commute to the area.
